Well here is my second try for a blog. I started on blogger – now here at wordpress. I started out with some personal blogging. This blog however is about my thoughts on current events in the IT business.

About me:

I do have 2 degrees, that I earned in Germany. I worked for a long time in a company – that went through quite a few name changes. The last couple of years I did work for this company at Oracle. First I was responsible for some glue logic so Oracle would work on the cluster provided by the company I worked for. In the end I worked as a partner manager. It would give some interesting insights as I dealt with various groups at Oracle mostly on a technical level.My focus however was and is database and here particularly clustering.

But it is not all about technology, it is the business around it – that makes it fun. Occasionally I will throw in some other stuff that is important to me.
